The winery at El Celler de Can Roca

The winery at El Celler de Can Roca is the result of more than thirty years of passion, curiosity and constant searching. Under Josep Roca’s direction, we have built a collection that preserves great wines and tells the story of regions, estates and people.

A living collection

More than 60,000 bottles rest in our cellar, representing over 3,500 references from around the world. Numbers tell only part of the story. Each wine is here because it has something to say, complements our cuisine or simply moves us.

Pairing as art

At El Celler, pairing is not a formula but a dialogue. Josep and the sommelier team work closely with the kitchen to create combinations that enhance both dish and wine—sometimes classic harmonies, sometimes surprising contrasts.

  • Classic pairing with sommelier selection
  • Author pairing with exceptional wines
  • Non-alcoholic options with juices and distillates
  • By-the-glass service of special references

Featured regions

Although the cellar spans almost every wine region in the world, we pay special attention to territories we consider essential to understanding contemporary wine.

Catalonia and Spain

Our land comes first. From great Priorat reds to Empordà whites, Penedès sparkling and historic Riojas. We actively seek small producers working with native varieties and respect for the environment.

France

Burgundy, Champagne, the Rhône and Bordeaux hold a special place in our collection. Historic vintages sit alongside emerging producers redefining these classic regions.

Discoveries

Georgia, Greece, Lebanon, Japan… The wine world is constantly evolving and we want to witness it. We regularly add references from regions writing new chapters in wine history.

Cellar visits

For wine lovers, we offer the chance to visit our cellar before or after service—a unique opportunity to explore the collection and discover the stories behind the bottles. Visits are arranged with the dining room team.
